Life Skill Program : IGIA, Jakkur, Bangalore

Future India Team visited Indira Gandhi School, Jakkur to find out the situation to launch Life Skill Program last month.

Based on our discussion with Ms. Gokila and Teacher –

– IGIA has skilled teacher to train students for various products
– They have one old sewing machines and that is not working properly
– There are more than 60 students are interested to learn tailoring and craft making products
РCurrenly, they need minimum 2-5  sewing machines to start classes for all students
– Also, they need other materials like cotton cloth, thread and other materials to make craft items
– Need to support for salary of teacher everymonth – expected is Rs. 5000.

Future India Team will get the price details for Sewing machines and other materials to start life skill program from November 2012 onwards.
